Jamster - They are one of the biggest players in the global market of cellular media such as games, ringtones, and wallpapers. Jamster's monthly plans start out at $5.99 and currently offer 2 ringtones, 3 graphics (wallpapers), and one software application or game download. This is a well priced plan that offers more than 10,000 media pieces to choose from. Jamster offers Polyphonic ringtones, Fun Sounds Ringtones, and what they call Real Tones.

Dada Mobile - Dada Mobile is also on of the top players in the ringtones marketplace. they offer a bit more than Jamster and also have a higher price tag. They now work with Sprint as of December 1st, 2005 so this is another bonus and Jamster no longer has this leg up on Dada. For $9.99 you will be able to download 8-10 (this depends on your carrier) premium pieces of content. this could be your choice of screensavers, wallpapers, ringtones, etc. Dada Mobile also offers games for download as well and a special feature they also now offer is the ability to send SMS message being a paid subscriber.

Blinko - While Blinko is one of the smaller big players, they are growing by leaps and bounds in recent months. Blinko uses a credits based system similar to that of Dada Mobile. For $9.99 a month you will get 7 credits which you can use to download any of the content found at Blinko. They do this package as their Club 42 package. The site is easy to navigate and quite pleasing to the eyes. There content amount is on the same level as Dada Mobile and Jamster. Blinko rounds out the Big 3 in the ringtone marketplace at this time.

QTones - These guys are an up and coming player in the world of ringtones. They do not currently work with Sprint / Nextel phones however. I would expect this to change once they get a better footing in the ringtone marketplace however. There monthly service fee is also $9.99, but you will be able to download and use 15 ringtones and/or images (wallpapers and such) rather than 7-10 like Dada and Blinko offer. They are currently doing mass promotion as to get their name in the minds of cell phone freaks around the world. There current promotion is giving away free iPods.
